Cheesy crepes with prosciutto, kalamata olives and sundried tomatoes. yes please.
I was pretty excited to makes crepes because I never have before but have always wanted to. I've always been kinda scared or daunted at the thought of making them though, they seem like it'd be super hard! But they totally weren't, it was way easier than I thought, and they came out PERFECT!!!
I substituted Curtis' crepe recipe for a gluten free one from Pamela's Products, it was a great recipe! I was pretty surprised, some times gluten free recipes aren't the best, but this one turned out perfect! Anyway without further ado, here is my dinner!

Barefoot in the Park
I've always loved this movie with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford! They're just adorable as a couple, and its such a fun movie! Jane Fonda is fabulous in it, and Robert Redford is as handsome as ever! And the pink dress she wears in the movie is so cute, I've always always wished I had one just like it, and the coat that goes with it I die (couldn't find a picture of the coat so you'll have to watch the movie to see it).

The Olympics!!! pt.2
So last weekend my parents and I went up to Vancouver for the Olympics! It was so crazy!!! I knew there would basquillons of people....but it didn't know there would be BASQUILLONS of people! I was a little overwhelmed at it all! But we had a great time.
We went to men's curling on Saturday night and saw Canada vs Great Britain, Sweden vs France and China vs Switzerland. The Canadian curling fans were a crack up! One man in our section of the arena passed our Canadian flags to everyone, and then he had a HUGE flag (like the type that fly over big buildings) that he would wave over the crowd when Canada made a point.
Then the next day we went in search of the Olympic Flame on the waterfront. I love the cauldron this year, I think it's gorgeous! The only thing I'm mad about at the Olympics this year is that all the little red Canadian mittens (which were the hot seller) were all SOLD OUT!!! I wanted a pair so so so bad! We looked everywhere, I was about ready to start offering strangers money for their pairs I wanted them so bad! Anyway, no luck finding them. (they had an abundance of little kid sizes, I tried to make them fit...nope)

Tuesday Sillies: Fractals
So in my Survey of Sutainability class we are doing fractals right now. They're basically a repeating pattern (alittle more to it than that, but thats the basic idea). I'm still not sure how it pertains to sustainability exactly, other than patterns in nature. But they're pretty sweet, so I thought I'd show you some examples of computer generated ones and natural ones!

My Lord God
I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself,
and the fact that I think I am following
your will does not mean
that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that my desire to please you
does in fact please you.
And I hope that I have that desire
in all that I am doing.
I hope that I will never do anything
apart from that desire.
And I know that if I do this
you will lead me by the right road
though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore will I trust you always
though I may seem to be lost
and in the shadow of death.
I will not fear,
for you are ever with me,
and you will never leave me
to face my perils alone.

The words I was looking for!
Ashlee said it best tonight on Twitter. I miss LA. I miss it like an ex-boyfriend. We broke up but I still love him. Heartbroken.
I could never explain what it felt like before!!! I know I left LA of my own accord so it was my decision, but I will always love it and miss it a little. Its just like a boyfriend who you know isn't right for you and the relationship isn't going anywhere so you break up, but you still have feelings for him. LA is my ex-boyfriend who I will always wish it could have worked out witg, but I will cherish the times we had together, and look forward to what's to ahead. I love you LA and all your craziness.

Wednesday inspiration: a post to make you hungry!!!
Have I ever told you how much I like candy. I'd live off it if I could. But lately I've been trying to not eat so much sugar, and I've been really really good at it...until this week. But its just that week when I crave sugar (if you know what I mean). So here is my Wednesday inspiration of candy and cookies and all things sugary.

The Jenny/Curtis Project
Today my mom and I were eating breakfast (I made us french toast) and we turned on The Today Show and who was on the screen? Only my most favoritest chef ever! Curtis Stone! Oh I love him! I got to meet him last spring at a book signing! I was so excited I almost peed my pants! (not really don't worry)
